ABOUT / 01

Researcher by curiosity.
Builder by nature.

I work across research, engineering and entrepreneurship, with a focus on autonomous robotics and intelligent systems designed for real-world use.

MY APPROACH

From an idea to
a working system.

My professional work connects advanced robotics research with practical engineering challenges. I'm particularly interested in how autonomous systems can become robust, useful technologies outside the laboratory.

As a researcher at INESC TEC and co-founder of ViField Robotics, I contribute to the development of robotic systems and to the process of transferring research outcomes toward real applications.

I value interdisciplinary collaboration, thoughtful engineering and building technologies that solve concrete problems.

I hold a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering (2023) and lead research on autonomous outdoor navigation at INESC TEC’s TRIBE Lab. My work includes SLAM, multi-sensor calibration, field robotics and the deployment of autonomous systems.
